Carlos Morales made our experience with the tour 10 times better. He made us feel safe, was professional, kind and stayed with us every step of the way! The cenote caves were amazing and it was such a good time! Score: Recommend: YES from Florida Oct 16, 2021
This private tour was 2 tours in one: snorkeling in the cenote caves and then snorkeling in a lagoon. The cave part was excellent! But they didn't say that we have to pay $10 to rent a wet suit. I would not recommend the lagoon. The water was very murky and not much fish. Score: Recommend: YES from Canada Feb 22, 2019
We had a great time on this tour, Sac Actun and Yal Ku were breathtakingly beautiful and snorkeling is fun! We had a small tour group, the path is easy going and the tour guide knowledgeable. Highly recommend bio degradable sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Although they encourage you to go without in Sac Actun to keep the waters pure. Yal Ku is super fun with a variety of fish to see! Had a great time with our guide Carlos. The private tour is the way to go and we appreciated moving along on "our" time. Score: Recommend: YES from Minneapolis, MN Apr 8, 2016
This tour was amazing. The first snorkel location was beautiful and crystal clear. Our guide at the caves was not only informative but our unofficial cameraman and shot all the photos we wanted, plus plenty of us so we could just enjoy the exploration. Then we went to a private cenote which was so beautiful and serene! I would do this tour again and would suggest it to anyone looking for this kind of adventure! This tour was one of the best tours we went on during our trip to Cancun. We did a combination of snorkeling and cave tour. The day started with a private van picking up us at the hotel. Our driver was an excellent driver and very caring. He stayed with us from start to finish. The first stop on our tour was to Akumal to go snorkeling. This is an inlet that has fresh water mixing with the saltwater. The snorkeling was excellent, and not to crowded. We stayed there for about 2.5 hours. Then we went to the cave tour. We were greeted by our guide Erik. (Excellent guide, very knowledgeable) There are areas in the cave that you can walk, swim and float thru. After this cave tour we went to a couple different cenotes / sink holes. (Same place) There we were able to swim or jump off the side of it. (If you would like to try) On one of the trips to the sink hole we took a wagon ride, on a track and pulled by a horse. (Very unique) Our guide Erik was with us all this time. Later we went and got lunch, at this nice open air restaurant. (Great atmosphere / Good Food) This was also included in the price of tour. When we were done our driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel. I have two older kids 25 and 21. They loved it! If you have smaller children this tour would be fine. One of the best side trips we went on. Again thanks to our guides. Score: Recommend: YES from Nashua NH Jan 12, 2015
