This was the best part of my trip!! It was a group of 7 of us who decided to take this private tour, and it was absolutely amazing! It's was by far worth the money! I had been reading about this experience and we decided as a group to book it for 12/11/2020.
First, I scheduled time for pick up was 7am and they arrived actually a little early which was a pleasant surprise. We were all up and ready. Next, on the ride down we received such a wonderful education regarding the rich culture from our tour guide. The weather was amazing and the walk through the park was nice. He was very knowledgeable and very protective of our group. Next, we went to the caves, and this was by far my most favorite part. Our guide was so patient with my group. He made sure we were safe and he didn't get frustrated when some of the group lagged behind. The caves are sight to see and absolute bucket list thing to do.
I was beyond impressed and satisfied with this experience if I could give 100 stars then I would!

Our guide and driver met us at a condo in Akumal, which was very convenient for us. The drive to Tulum was safe, quick, and informative, and our private tour of the archeological site at Tulum was outstanding. Angel (our guide) had so many details to share about the Mayan culture, significance of the site, and the area today. The Cenote was remarkable, and all the staff did a great job of improvising the tour/swim when our one of our kids was struggling. The stop back at Akumal included an excellent lunch at a local cafe. Angel gave a lot of great (and informative) information about the Tulum ruins! We loved our experience at the Sac Aton cenote and it was amazing and not crowded! Unique and unexpected experience that we all enjoyed. And the lunch at the authentic Mexican restaurant in Akumal was one of our favorite meals during our trip! Angel and Chesus tremendously guided us throughout the Tulum tour. We learned a lot about the history and culture of the Mayans civilization in Tulum. Most importantly, the underwater cave swim in Cenote Sac Actun blowed our mind. The guide there was amazing and ensure that we were safe from those limestone rocks. Our tour guide Angel and driver were excellent and very professional. The car was very comfortable. The ruins were beautiful but weather was so hot. The stop at San Actun was amazing - our tour guide at San Actun Louis was superb. The lunch for the deluxe tour was just okay. I would have liked it to be a better location given the fact that it was the Elite package. The food was decent but the location could be better. We were so glad we signed up for the private tour. We were picked up promptly from our hotel. It was nice not having to go around to the various hotels to pick everyone up. Alejandro, our guide was amazing! We called him a walking encyclopedia!
