How to get departure site
The tour departs from the Marina Aquatours in the Cancun hotel zone. (Km 6.5 on the lagoon side -across Playa Tortugas (Turtles beach) It is very easy to get either by public bus or taxi.
Due to weather we were not able to snorkel but boat ride was awesome! This is our 3rd time on this tour. Love it!!!

Loved it! we both did. The only thing we were thinking, while we were going fast, was that we would have loved the top speed to have been a little bit faster. We understood the speed limitations, but maybe increase it to 40 miles per hr, instead of 30? that's not much of an increase...but would have mazamized the experience.

We had a blast on this tour! Our guide was great and he took us to the area of the reef where the GIANT schools of fish were hiding! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fairly inexpensive tour. Despite the no hotel pickup you can grab a bus for a dollar, or 8.50 pesos almost every 5 mins it seems and tell them to drop you off at Playa de Tortuga and Aqua Tours is right across the street!
