Shark Encounter in Cancun
Dare to live an adrenaline-charged experience diving in a shark tank, within the safety of an acrylic cage, to see them closely and feed these authentic sovereigns of the seas and oceans.
In the middle of Cancun hotel zone, dive among sharks in an unforgetable, unique, safe and exciting way! Meet them face to face and feel adrenaline running through your veins! You don't need to know how to dive or swim.
The instructors will give you a detailed explanation of the anatomy, habits, lifecycle and function within the marine ecosystem of the sharks, which will help you understand better the behavior an importance of the role sharks have in our planet’s seas and oceans.
You will have an encounter with these animals that appeared on this earth almost 400 million years ago. Come experience it!

More information
- MUST be at least 6 years old and 4 ft. 6 inches tall to participate.
- The tank holds 3 people plus the guide. You can book 1, 2, or 3 person submersion. The prices listed is the total, no extra fees or taxes.
- IMPORTANT: Due to temperamental nature of sharks in captivity this activity is subject to cancellation by the Aquarium Personnel at any time up to and including when you are in the shark cage. You will receive a 100% refund in the event of a cancellation by the Aquarium Personnel.
Recommendations
- You can rent an underwater camera at the aquarium for $10.00
- Take a bus or taxi to La Isla mall in the Cancun Hotel Zone at KM 12.5. The mall is on the lagoon and you will find Interactive Aquarium there.
